Which way should be the best to get to Japan?
Hello, my name is Hudson and I'm about to turn 18 one month from now. The last two years have really made me change my mind about a lot of things - one of those was dropping out of my highschool at my junior year. I went through a lot of emotional trouble and simultaneously hated much of the inefficient, lazy activities we were forced to do paired with a demeaning atmosphere. After a year break I tried going back to the same school, but the results were the same. So now, I've decided what i want to do from here. I've loved japanese culture and the language since I was a child, and started learning Japanese since the summer of last year. I'm confident that going to Japan and living there is what I want to do from here on. I don't know too much about what I want to do as a job beyond, but the more I practice my Japanese the more I see so many things that inspire and excite me. I wouldn't mind taking an entry level/low paying job as a result once I arrive. Of course, there in lies the problem. How do I get there?? I've looked up some options - sites like gogonihon.com offer to streamline the process, but at around 10,000 dollars a year. So I was thinking perhaps I could continue my studies here in America, while taking a job and saving enough money to go to japan and study in a school for a year? I know that american colleges take homeschoolers without a problem, but I don't know how that would work internationally. Anyway, assuming I would get in if I just had the money, that is one option. Another idea I've thought of was scholarships. It seems that the official japanese goverment only gives scholarships to those who have completed high school however.. so I'm looking to see if there are any other scholarships I could apply for. Another is a bit more indirect I think. That would be applying to a college, taking some kind of japanese class/exchange program through them and thus going. Of course, how am I supposed to get that much money to get there?? My family (basically my mother and me) are already struggling with living on normal expenses, and I have no interest in paying off debt for any number of years (that may seem naive but I really really hate the idea. I'd rather grind through the work now and have nothing stuck on my back then to be constantly hounded for money which ni my case would probably be mostly obtained from physical labor making it a kind of pseudo slavery). So I think this is off the map. And lastly I think because I'm turning 18 soon that I'm disqualified from any high school exchanges, right? I mean, maybe not if I haven't actually finished school, but I'd be happy finishing high school in japan if that was an option. All right, thank you for reading all of that if you did and I apologize for making this like a blog post with a billion different questions. I would love to hear your input if you have any though. ??????????? Thank you very much!

Young and need help planning a budget as i am on a low income?
I am 18 and have moved out for the first time about 6 months ago but struggling. I am on a low income. I need to work out a budget but dont know really how to as i have problems with spending money on useless things. I need to do groceries, bills. But i still seem to have no money, i also get paid every fornight so it is even harder. I am awaiting to do a course but wanting to get a job but there is nothing out there. I get so lazy i need to do house work and organise my shopping for the following week but trying to get my P's. Everything is just so hard. If someone could help me with a basic budget plan on what i should do you will be a life saver! I am thinking of getting a loan and paying off debts and everything that needs to be paid of including buying a cheap car. Someone help! :) Oh i though loans would be an easy option as i can afford to pay monthly as i calculated on the st george website! I know i completely need to start saving but i find it so bloody hard. i was thinking maybe opening a term deposit? So do you think completely forget about loans? Even if i can afford the monthly payment?

Can spouse be held responsible for husbands back child support after death?
If the father of the child dies and still owes back child support is the fathers current spouse liable to pay back that support? I was already told by an attorney that anything left in his estate will be used first to pay off debts such as child support but that life insurance is not considered part of the fathers estate since there was a beneficiary named on the policy, the wife.... But the spouse could be liable for those debts. Besides the Life insurance the father had no estate, no investments, etc. The current spouse has 2 other children (with the dead father) to support alone for the rest of their life. The father was KIA in Iraq. The question is: since the beneficiary of the LI was the wife is she liable to pay the back support? I know if the beneficiary was anyone else they wouldn't have to but since its the spouse I was told that the deceased husband leaves her his debts (that was his only debt). He didnt own a home and his and his wifes names were on their car. As far as belongings he didnt have anything of much worth, just clothing and things in their "rented" house (ex: appliances) that were shared by his spouse.
