Can you sue a Title & Escrow company for forgery?
If a Title & Escrow company forged your signature on a mortgage loan payoff request form that you did not authorize and was not aware of, can you sue for forgery, fraud, and/or privacy invasion? If so, how long do you have to file suit? Also, if the title company has paid back the payoff request fee, is it still possible to sue? Damage to my name is not the issue, the issue is the fact that this company forged my signature to a document, and sent it to my mortgage company without my permission, which in turn, my mortgage company released my personal & confidential account infomation to this company and then charged me for request. I didn't even request assistance from this company, nor was I intending to payoff the mortgage of discussion. That is why I said Forgery, Fraud and/or Privacy invasion. But thank you for your input. Can anyone tell me how long from the date of the occurence do I have to file suit?

Is Enrolling in the biweekly mortgage payment plan to speed up the mortgage loan payoff a good idea?
Its the same payment just split into 2 different times a month. Supposedly its going to save me a ton in interest and reduce the life of my loan. Is this a good idea? or is this a scam? Thanks for any input.

Mortgage loan payoff payment more then monthly payment? Please read?
Ok, iam a first time home buyer so iam new to this. I want to make my first mortgage payment to my bank which is also my last payment because I got a notice in the mail that the sold my home loan to another bank. Well I went to my bank to make what I thought was going to be my monthly morgage payment of 1,500 but they said since its a payoff I owe them 1,876 because of principle and interest or something like that. I just find this so unfair because here iam trying to make my mortgage payment on the agreed mortgage payment of 1500 and since they sold my loan I have to pay more? Somehow this doesn't seem fair? Its not my fault they sold the loan. I called my new bank which they sold the loan to and they said my payment for next month is the regular 1500. Is this normal? Will I get the extra money iam paying back?
